	SATA UK Ltd. Profile SATA began their presence in the UK market in 1981 when they teamed up with Minden Industrial Ltd. as their UK importer. The strength of the SATA brand soon began to develop and by support from the dealer network and close co-operation with the paint companies the SATA business was growing consistently. It was in 2000 when the business of Minden Industrial Ltd. was completely sold to TTS (Tooltechnic Systems) GB Ltd. due to the retirement of the former owner of Minden. Because of their excellent reputation for quality and performance and their strong position in the automotive market, SATA continued to be an important part of the overall product portfolio of the new company. As a result of the growth of both brands, however, SATA and TTS came to the conclusion during the early part of 2006 that they would only be able to reach further expansion of their respective businesses by focussing on their own product ranges. By then, SATA decided to set up their own subsidiary in the UK to enable them to take matters in their own hands and to see the product gain the market position they believe it ultimately deserves. SATA UK Ltd was officially opened in Newmarket in Suffolk, East Anglia on the 3rd of July 2006. The team representing SATA in the UK is headed up by Matt Stevens as Managing Director, Ronald Kidd as Office and Repair Manager, Russell Jacob as Regional Sales Manager South and Edward Scott as Regional Sales Manager North. The Newmarket location is the centre for training, repairs and sales in the UK. SATA has decided to use their own expertise in logistics to ship all products directly from the SATA headquarters in Kornwestheim (near Stuttgart), Germany to the UK dealers. The efficient and fast delivery service ensures that shipments usually reach their destination within two to three working days. The organisation also has an English speaking order processing division based in Kornwestheim managed by Veronika Meyerle. In addition, SATA UK Ltd. have the constant support of the export team in Germany headed up by the Head of Export Joerg Goettling and country specific Export Manager Christian Bunk. This lean set-up of the company allows the UK sales team to focus fully on the sales of paint spray equipment and therefore to offer excellent service to the market. To satisfy the needs and requirements of our UK customers on a daily basis is the key driver for our organisation.
